My Summer Rewind

Dear Gals,

Comment allez-vous ? Depuis mon dernier post, je suis victime du syndrome de la page blanche. J'ai beaucoup de choses à vous raconter mais cette incapacité à faire un post correct. Afin d'éviter de tarder dans mes prochains articles, j'ai eu la "brillante" idée de faire des petits résumés sur mes aventures de l'été.

EN - Hello Gals How are you ? ❤ Since my last article, I've some difficult to write another posts.  I've so many things to show you but I can't explain correctly in a blogpost. To not be late in my future post, I've the idea to do a summer summary.

⁂ Gyaru Party - un mois après

Si vous êtes membres actifs de la communauté gyaru, vous n'avez pas pu passer à côté de la gyaru Party. C'était un grand meeting international organisé mi-août à Paris. C'était mon tout premier meeting international depuis le gros meeting de la Tokyo Crazy Kawaii en 2013, autant vous dire que j'étais  à la fois enthousiaste et  angoissée.

C'était l'événement à ne surtout pas rater cette année !! J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir rencontrer et de discuter avec beaucoup de gals et même d'apprendre une chorégraphie de ParaPara. Il n'y avait pas de compétitions, de clans comme beaucoup pourraient penser de la communauté gals.  Malgré la barrière de la langue, ce meeting s'est passé dans la joie, l'échange et la bienveillance. Merci à Gyaransu d'avoir relevé le rude défi d'organiser tout ça. Le retour dans les landes a été compliqué après un weekend idyllique et enrichissant comme celui-ci.

EN - The gyaru party was a big international meeting in Paris. I was so glad and anxious in same time to meet everyone.  It was my first international meet since the Tokyo Crazy Kawaii meet in 2013. That was a amazing meeting with so many gorgeous gals.
The challenge is to speak in english and understand in english. Very hard challenge, it's more easy to write than to speak. I was surprised too to learn parapara dance ♫ ♫ in only few hours. [Thank You Chris]. Thank you evey Gals & Gyaransu for their caring. I feel more close of the gyaru community.
Gyaru Community is definitly the best. ❤

⁂ Manga Dax

Cette année, je n'étais pas exposante à Manga Dax mais simple visiteur. Malheureusement je travaillais ce week-end. J'ai profité seulement quelques heures de la convention. Pour l'occasion j'ai ressorti ma plus belle tenue d'écolière de Gryffondor. J'ai passé un agréable moment avec des stands et des activités variés et surtout gratuits. Je me suis accordé une petite folie, avec une petite fiole de Felix Felicis rose à paillette. [☆ J'ai besoin d'un peu de chance dans ma vie ☆]

Encore cette fois-ci, des enfants m'ont confondu avec Hermione. Ils étaient absolument adorables. Il était tellement crédule quand je leur disais que j'étais Gertrude, sa cousine au 3e degré. Je leur confiais ma précieuse baguette de sureau le temps d'une photo, ça les rendait tellement heureux.

Merci à l'association Manga Dax d'apporter un peu culture japonaise dans nos campagnes profondes.
 

EN - This year, I didn't display in Manga Dax. I was only a visitor for only few hours because of my job...  For this occasion, I put my Gryffindor outfit. I had a very good time with many stands and free activities. I bought a little pink flask of "Felix Felicis" with sparkles. [☆ Need chance in my life ☆]
Again in this convention, lot of kids were confuses when they saw me. They think that I'm Hermione. I said I was a first cousin of Hermione. They were so cute and gullible.
Thank you Manga Dax for this wonderful convention. They import a little bit of japanese culture in our countryside. ❤

J'avoue, je n'ai pas fait moult chose durant cet été. Mais que voulez-vous... Je suis un ours qui hiberne l'été en attendant les premières feuilles mortes. L'automne est ma saison préférée, quel est la vôtre ? 

[FASHION] Rock my spring ✿

Comment allez-vous ? Avez-vous vu mon dernier article sur Darwin ? [Clique ici ma belette] J'avais une courte réflexion sur la compatibilité d'un style rokku avec la saison printemps et l'été. Les marques sortent en grande partie leurs collections rock au début de l'automne. Cette année est un très bon cru pour le style rokku. On nous offre plus de choix et d'originalité pour ce début de printemps. [...et de la couleur !]

Pour ce printemps, on peut commencer à laisser son pantalon de côté pour un short destroy. Le gros plus tendance du moment c'est les collants résilles à grosses mailles sous un jean ou un short. On range les vêtements chauds et on choisit des robes légères et des hauts plus décolletés. En attendant les grosses chaleurs, vous pouvez habiller votre tenue avec un perfecto, une chemise à carreaux ou un bomber.

Le t-shirt et la robe imprimé sont super tendance : Ça correspond en tout point à un style rokku. J'ai un coup de cœur particulièrement pour les tops et les robes avec un col V et un laçage.

Si vous n'aimez pas trop porter des décolletés vous pouvez opter pour des coupes simples et de coordonner votre tenue avec un choker. Il y a énormément de choix d'imprimé, les plus tendances sont les imprimés "groupe de rock/metal".

Pour les accessoires, les grandes tendances de cette saison sont encore les chokers et les sacs à dos. [Deux accessoires des années 90] Vous pouvez donc ressortir vos accessoires de cet hiver, ils seront parfaits avec les t-shirts à imprimé. [Je vous invite à revoir mon article sur les choker.].

Mon accessoire fétiche pour cette saison, c'est la casquette. Pour rester dans le look rokku, je les choisis avec des clous, en cuir ou avec des anneaux. J'ai repéré une casquette vraiment sympa sur le site dollskill avec des épingles à nourrice. Qu'en pensez vous ?

It's a little vlog during a photoshoot for Gal Vip with my love, Ly. One of these pictures are selected for the summer cover of Gal Vip. The weather was perfect for a April month. We have so much fun, sunburn & and lot of falls. I can to say you : It's very complicated to have a perfect hairdo with the wind & the sand... ☼ ☼ Let's go to the beach... Too Early ? Really ??

Very Tired but Happy. I cleaned my flat : I rubbed, I repair and I paint all wall in white. I'm felt not very glam' these last days.

This Saturday, my husband and I went for a walk in a Shopping Mall. We bought only a lot of mangas. These last day of rain, we read a lot of manga. Am I became an Otaku ? [No, No...]

My last reading are  "Switch Girl" [19 volumes] & "No longer No Heroine" [1 volume]. Try it ! Perhaps I'm too old to read shōjo. I don't care !! *haha*

Sunny days = Sunny Outfits

I made an Onee Outfit with a turquoise touch. I tried to make a light makeup. I use my concealer of the moment : "Fake Up" by Benefit.

The coverage isn't bad but a little "oily" : There is a moisturizing part in this concealer. It's easy to apply and dissolve it on the skin. I'm very glad what the ligher color #1 isn't too dark or light for my skin. This is the reason what I keep it for this summer.

Today it's was a short update with outfits. *Yay* A "girly" day to try some clothes and accessories. I need to find new inspirations for this Spring & Summer. Yesterday, I went to restaurant with my husband. I profited to make him a show !

★☆ DIY - Dreamcatcher (+BONUS - D.i.a. storage box)

Spring is back, I take my gyaru inspiration in indian style. I want to wear feathers, a stetson and a destroy jeans. My first craving : A dreamcatcher. 

I find on Youtube a wonderfull tutorial in french about to make dreamcatcher earring. I liked the same but a necklace. So, I do myself a necklace dreamcatcher. [French - Chaine "Détail qui tue" par Isnata]

◥ DIFFICULTY - ★☆☆☆☆

It's very easy and fast. I found the materials at a supermarket or available on arts&crafts webshop. (or Ebay)

◥ MATERIALS

→ Ring with a big diameter [Recycling : You can choose a old plastic bracelet as me]
→ Jump ring,
→ Feathers,
→ Flat Nose Pliers,
→ Connectors,
→ Pearls,
→ Reel of thick thread,
→ Reel of thin thread,
→ Cord for the necklace [Recycling : I use an old cord belt]

◥ TIMES
45 minutes max.

◥ STEP ONE - LINING OF THE RING

You'll need big ring : It's the base of your dreamcatcher. With your cotton thread thick, wind it around of the ring. Put some points of glue, every 2 cm.

◥ STEP TWO - COBWEB

You'll need to see the video above. It's more easier if you watch the technique of weaving. You'll need, the thin threads and a needle. In the picture, I add three perles during the weaving. You can add all what you want.

◥ STEP THREE - NECKLACE

I wanted to keep the american indian theme. I use a beige cord as a necklace. I do a knot with the big ring in the middle of the cord.

I put some pearls in the two extremity in same times. I've the impression to have just one cord at the base.

◥ STEP FOUR - FEATHERS

I put two types of pearls on the feathers. After that, I use a connector and I close it. You can add a point of glue on the extremity. 

You can make a cascade of feathers ; add little rings. [Like the picture]

I use a jump ring and put a couple of feathers on the principal ring. [Brown & Striped feather]. I place, four couple of feathers on the principal ring.

The Result !

In few times, you've a pretty & cheap necklace. I think to do another big dreamcatcher. If you've question about the technique or what do you want... I'll show you some coordinations with this necklace. Comment & Show me your "dreamcatcher" !

◥ BONUS - D.I.A. STORAGE BOX

In my dressing, I found a lot of shopping bag from Shibuya 109. I love all of them, I don't whant to throw. I've a d.i.a. shopping bag very damaging... I've a solution ! 

I use an old box of protein, glue and my damaging shopping bag. I'll create a storage box to my brushes and lipstick. *Happy me*

Firstly, I unstick the label of the protein box. I'll use it to have the measurement and cut the d.i.a. shopping bag.

Take a utility knife and cut out around the label. I place the label in the middle to have the "d.i.a." design brand.

Last step, put glue on all of the back of your shopping bag piece. 

Don't forget the corners. Stick the piece on aroud the box...    

You're done ! It's free and you've a "bling bling" storage box.
